Sub:    PASSES – Surrender and Reimbursement of Privilege Bus Passes by the Officers of the Corporation - Request to extension of time limit for surrendering of the Privilege Bus Passes at their credit by the Officers pertaining to the block period of 2005-2008 – Extension of time limit - Reg

            Instructions were issued through Circular 1^st cited permitting the Officers to avail the facility of surrender of Bus Passes pertaining to the block period of 2005-2008 until 31.12.2009.  If they do not avail the left over un-used privilege bus passes pertaining to the block period of 2005-2008 before 31.12.2009, they will lapse.

            Most  of the Officers  have represented that  they could not avail the  facility of surrender of Bus Passes pertaining to the block period of 2005-2008 on account of Telangana, Samikya Andhra Bundhs, Fairs & Festivals in some Regions i.e., Brahmotsavams at Tirupati, Kanipakam, Tiruchanur in Tirupathi Region, Medaram Jathara in Warangal, Nizamabad, Khammam, Adilabad Regions and also on account of Strike Notices served by the Recognized Union and JAC and requested to extend the time limit for surrender of unused privilege Bus Passes pertaining to the Block Period of 2005 - 2008.

            Considering the circumstances explained by the Officers of the Corporation, the Board vide resolution 2^nd cited,  resolved to accord approval allowing the Officers of the Corporation to utilize the facility of surrender and encashment of unused privilege bus passes at their credit for the Block Period of 2005-2008 upto 31.12.2010. The unused Bus Passes pertaining to the said Block period shall lapse beyond 31.12.2010 and shall not be carried over.

            The other terms and conditions for surrender of Privilege Bus Passes and reimbursement thereon, issued from time to time, hold good.
