Sub:-   SENIORITY - Change of level of seniority of Divisional cadres of Regional level seniorities on abolition of Divisional Set-Up - Further instructions - Issued.

         Instructions were issued through Circular 1st cited that all the posts hitherto in the Divisional seniority have become Regional Seniority posts and the Regional Managers shall take immediate action for preparation of integrated Regional Seniority lists for all the Divisional cadres duly fixing the inter-se seniority of the employees belonging to the erstwhile Divisional seniority in their respective Regions according to the time schedule given therein.  Further, any promotion to the Divisional cadre posts should be given only after publication of final Regional Seniority lists.

        Implementation of integrating seniorities was kept in abeyance in the case of Guntur / Vijayawada / Ananthapur / Visakhapatnam / Kurnool / Tirupati and East Godavari Regions vide reference 2nd cited.

        It is now decided to follow the instructions issued through the reference 1st cited in the case of above Regions also.

        The concerned Regional Managers are therefore, advised to take immediate action for preparation of integrated Regional Seniority lists as per the Circular 1st cited in their respective Regions, according to the time schedule fixed hereunder.

        1)    Publication of Provisional Regional

               Seniority lists of all erstwhile Divisional

               Cadres to elicit objections/Representations,

               if any.                                                                                   ....31.03.1997

        2)    Publication of final Regional seniority                                        15.04.1997.

               lists duly considering the objections/   

               Representations received, if any.

        Any promotion to the erstwhile Divisional cadre posts should be given only after publication of final Regional Seniority lists in the above Regions.

        The instructions herein above shall be exhibited on the Notice Boards of all the Operational Units and Regional Offices of the concerned Regions for wide publicity.

        The Executive Directors of concerned Zones should ensure that the Regional Seniority  lists as contemplated above are  published as per the time schedule fixed without fail.
