Sub :- guest House : Occupation of Guest House by local Officers on permanent basis instructions issued - Reg.

Detailed instructions have been issued on occupation of Guest Houses by local officer on regular basis vide above references. It has been brought to the notice of VC & MD by Vigilance wing that inspite of these instructions, some officers are still staying in Guest Houses on regular basis on different pretexts and HRA is being drawn to them.
The Personnel Officer/Dy. Chief Personnel Manager concerned has to ensure the implementation of the instructions issued in this regard. Audit has to admit HRA to officers after ascertaining that they are not occupying the Guest House before releasing the salary.
POs/Dy.CPMs/Dy.CAOs are instructed to scrutinize the registers maintained in the Guest House from 01.10.1996n and recover the balance amounts from the concerned officers who have stayed in the Guest House continuously.
A compliance report should reach the undersigned by 15.02.1998 positively.
