Sub: - RECRUITMENT- Direct recruitment to the post of Artisans-Allotment of marks-instructions issued regarding.

Ref:      1) Cir No ,PD-58/2010, Dt 10-11-2010.

2) Cir No 20/1992, dated 1-04-1992.

Instructions were issued vide circular 1^st cited regarding the Method of selection and qualifications prescribed for the post of Mechanics/Artisans to be filled in by direct recruitment , and apportioning of marks against various criteria when direct recruitment is conducted.

Vide reference 2^nd cited apportioning of marks for additional qualifications, Experience and sports was assigned to the selection committee duly fixing up criteria in awarding marks.

Now it is decided   that there is a need for uniformity in assigning of marks for additional qualifications and experience by selection committee constituted for the purpose of selection of Mechanic/Artisan.

Therefore marks for additional qualifications, experience and sports shall be distributed in the following manner to reduce subjectivity.

1. For additional qualification          :    Over and above the Basic qualification i.e.,

                                                           ITI, If Diploma

                                                           (Automobile/Mechanical)                 -  3  marks

                                                           Graduate  in any field                        - 5   marks

                                                           (Not to exceed maximum of 5 marks)

2. For Experience                           :    Every year of experience 1 mark in a reputed

Automobile Institute, or any allied organization

(6 months rounded off to 1 year)

    ( Not to exceed maximum of 5 marks)

3. NCC/Sports                 NCC   :   “A”  certificate    - 1

                                                        “B”  certificate    - 3

                                                        “C” certificate     - 5

                                               Sports:    National level      - 5

                                                              State level           - 3

                                                              University level    - 1

                                                         (For both together limited to maximum of 5 marks)

           These instructions will come into effect immediately.
