Supervisors are playing a vital role in the development of the Corporation. They have been shouldering the responsibility of bridging the gap between management policies and implementation mechanism. Their active participation is instrumental in Corporation achieving many Laurels in various key parameters. It is an acknowledged fact that the supervisors work under dynamic situation. Keeping in view the challenging tasks they face in the present competitive environment and also with a view to recognize their continuous efforts to achieve better results, a decision is taken to enhance their allowances. It is felt that such a positive step of increasing their allowances would go a long way in motivating them to play their role more effectively which is very crucial at present as the Corporation is going through testing times.
Therefore, Corporation Board through Resolution 3rd cited has accorded sanction for Revision of limits for reimbursement of expenditure and for introduction of new allowances for Class-II Supervisors.
I. REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENDITURE INCURRED TOWARDS REFRESHMENTS AND CONVEYANCE:
The revised outer limits fixed for reimbursement of
expenditure incurred towards Refreshments and Conveyance are
furnished in the Annexure. Payment
towards Refreshments and Conveyance shall not be made as monthly rated
Allowances. The Class-II Supervisors are
entitled for reimbursement of actual expenditure incurred and claimed by them
towards Refreshments and conveyance in the performance of their duties not
exceeding the rates, shown in the Annexure.
II.
REIMBURSEMENT OF BRIEF CASE EXPENDITURE: (Once in two years)
Reimbursement of Briefcase Expenditure to the extent of Rs.1,000.00 or the value of purchase whichever is less shall be made to all Class-II Supervisors of the Corporation once in two years from the date of last purchase, subject to production of original voucher towards purchase of Brief Case/Suit Case.
III. STATIONARY ALLOWANCE:
The payment towards Stationery Expenditure of Rs.1,000/- per year shall be made to all Supervisors of the Corporation in lieu of Pen Allowance from the year 2011-12 and onwards, payable in April of every year.
The Class-II Supervisors are not entitled for the Pen Allowance which was communicated through Cir.No.PD-24/2010, dated 07.05.2010 as the New Stationary Allowance is introduced in lieu of Pen Allowance. If the existing Pen Allowance was already drawn by the Supervisors for year 2011-12, they are eligible for difference amount only.
IV. FIELD ALLOWANCE TO DEPOT SUPERVISORS (Monthly):
To
motivate the Class-II Supervisors who work in Depots, a new monthly allowance
called Field Allowance is introduced to the Depot Supervisors, at the rates mentioned here under:

The revised rates of Allowances will come into force with effect from 01.01.2011.

* Rs.400/- is fixed as the outer limit for reimbursement of expenditure incurred towards refreshments to the Class II Supervisors discharging the duties as Bus Station Managers. They are entitled to draw allowance attached to their post or Rs.400/- whichever is higher.
