Sub: INCREMENTS – Sanction of Advance Increments to the continuously Award Winning Drivers in HSD KMPL at Regional level – Reg.

Every year, 5 best HSD KMPL Drivers who have saved maximum HSD oil during the previous year basing on the average KMPL of the Corporation, are being selected from each Region and these Drivers are presented with cash awards of Rs.1,000/-, Rs.800/-, Rs.600/-, Rs.400/- and Rs.200/- to the first, second, third, fourth and fifth ranking Drivers respectively and merit certificates from the Corporation in a function during the Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight organized in the month of January. In addition to this, the depot from which the first best HSD KMPL driver is selected in the Region is also being presented with a memento.
It is felt that if the best HSD KMPL drivers who have achieved continuously at Regional level are rewarded suitably, it will make a distinction among others and motivate them to retain the same position in their respective Regions. This will also motivate other Drivers to gain these benefits.
It is, therefore, decided to grant Advance Increments to those Drivers who are adjudged as 5 best KMPL Drivers at Regional level and received awards consecutively for a period of 5 years and above as indicated hereunder:
ONE advance increment from January of 6th year to such of those Drivers who are selected for awards consecutively for a period of FIVE years;
SECOND advance increment from January of 9th year to such of those Drivers who received awards for a period of 8 years consecutively; and
THIRD advance increment from January of 11th year to such of those Drivers who received awards for a period of 10 years consecutively.
A Committee consisting of Chief Mechanical Engineer (O), Chief Finance Manager and one Regional Manager to be nominated by ED (E&IT) shall study and give its recommendations to Executive Director (A&P) for grant of Advance Increments to the Drivers adjudged as 5 best KMPL drivers at Regional level and received awards consecutively for a period of 5 years and above.
All the Regional Managers are, hereby, advised to identify the eligible drivers, as per the above criteria and send the proposals through the ED (Zone) concerned in January every year to the Chief Mechanical Engineer (O) so as to examine the same by the above Committee constituted by the VC & MD and give its recommendations to the Competent Authority for grant of advance increments to the eligible drivers and communicate the same.
The above instructions will come into force with prospective effect.
This Circular is issued with the sanction of Vice Chairman & Managing Director and concurrence of Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer.
A copy of this Circular shall be exhibited on the Notice Board by all the Depot Managers for information of the Drivers.
