            Regulation 50(B) of APSRTC Employees (Leave) Regulations 1963 provides for terminal encashment of earned leave to a maximum limit of 240 days.

            The General Secretary, Recognised APSRTC National Mazdoor Union requested through the representation 3^rd cited to permit the retired employees to encash their Earned Leave upto 300 days without any restriction.

            Considering the representation 3^rd cited, the Chairman with the concurrence of Financial Advisor accorded approval, pending ratification by the Board and Government to the proposed amendment to Reg.50(B) of APSRTC Employees (Leave) Regulations 1963, to permit employees on cessation of the service to encash earned leave to a maximum limit of 300 days.

            These instructions will come into force with immediate effect.

            Necessary action shall be taken accordingly.
