Sub: UNIFORM - Supply of Uniform to Para Medical Staff and payment of Uniform Allowance to Staff Nurses/ANMs working on Contract basis on par with regular Para Medical Staff - Orders Issued.

Instructions were issued through Circular 1^st cited on supply of Terry Cotton Uniform to Para Medical Staff of the Corporation duly indicating the No. of sets of Uniform, duration of supply, quantity of cloth and colour of Uniform to be supplied.  It was also stipulated therein that the Staff Nurses, Head Staff Nurse, Health Visitors and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery continue to get uniform allowance in lieu of Uniform as per the existing instructions.

            The General Secretary, Recognised APSRTC National Mazdoor Union through representation cited requested to supply Uniform to Para Medical Staff working on contract basis and for payment of Uniform Allowance to Staff Nurses and ANMs working on contract basis on par with the regular Para Medical Staff.

            Considering the request of the Union, the VC & MD with the concurrence of Chief Accounts Officer accorded approval (a) for supply of Uniform to Physiotherapists, Lab. Technicians, Pharmacists, Lab. Assistants/Ward Boys working on contract basis on par with regular employees and (b) for payment of Uniform Allowance to Staff Nurses and ANMs working on contract basis on par with the regular Staff Nurses/ANMs in lieu of providing Uniform.

            These instructions will come into force with immediate effect.

             Necessary action shall, therefore, be taken accordingly.
