Sub:-    RECRUITMENT  -  Drivers and Conductors recruited in the newly created Gr-III post - Allowing of Daily Wages applicable to Grade-II Driver / Conductor w.e.f. 01.04.1997 - Instructions - Issued.

Ref :     1) Notification No. Supdt.(P)/PC/331(1)/91 - PO(IV), Dt. 24.03.1995.

            4) Memorandum of Settlement under Section 12 (3) of I.D. Act, 1947 reached between  the Management of APSRTC and the Recognized  APSRTC NMU on 27.03.1997.

        Amendment to APSRTC Employees (Recruitment) Regulations, 1966 providing for creation of new cadres of Driver Gr-llI and Conductors Gr-lll was notified vide reference 1st cited , duly prescribing scale of Pay to the new cadres.

        It was instructed through the reference 2nd cited that all recruitments to the post of Driver and Conductor shall be done in the new cadres of  Driver and Conductor Gr.lll only.

        In pursuance of the Memorandum of Settlement 4th cited following instructions are issued, pending approval of the Corporation Board and Government.

    1)    All the existing Grade-lll Casual Driver and Conductor shall be allowed the rate of Daily wages as applicable to the Grade-ll casual Drivers/ Conductors w.e.f. 01.04.1997.

    2)    All future recruits to the posts of Casual Drivers and Conductors shall be paid daily wages applicable to Casual Grade-ll  Driver and Conductor.

        The rate of Daily wage applicable to Casual Driver and Conductor Grade-ll as notified vide Circular 3rd cited are reproduced here under

Necessary action shall be taken to implement the same w.e.f. 01.04.1997.

        These instructions are issued subject to final approval of the Corporation Board and Government to amend the relevant Recruitment Regulations.
