           Sub:-  PASSES - Specifying the familiar Starting/Destination points or names of District Head Quarters in Privilege bus passes - Instructions - Issued. 

           Ref:- Circular No. PD-4/1976-77, Dated 19.04.1976.

            Instructions were issued through the circular cited stating that  “the Privilege Bus passes may be issued from any place to any place irrespective of the Head Quarters of the employee’’.

            Instances have come to notice wherein the privilege passes are being issued mentioning names of some villages as Origins or Destinations.  It is leading to confusion among crew and checking staff as more than one village with the same or similar name exists in the same district or in several other districts resulting in the possible misuse of the privilege bus pass, besides the possibility of staff travelling on such privilege bus passes reaching wrong destinations.

Therefore, to avoid confusion and to ensure hassle free travel to the employees, all the unit officers are advised to specify the Familiar places like nearby Depot/ important place/ Mandal name/District HQ name etc., as a landmark reference to facilitate the Crew/Checking Officials for easy identification of the origin and Destination points and to prevent the misuse of the privilege pass issued besides avoiding trouble to the users of such passes.

These instructions will come into force with immediate effect.
