Sub:-    BUS PASSES - Privilege Bus Passes to the employees of Corporation - Permission to travel in next higher service if no Express service is operated on such routs / sectors Instructions issued - Reg.

        Instructions were issued vide Circular 1st cited to allow employees on one of the two Privilege Bus Passes to travel in the Semi Luxury Services during the period from July to December.

        Instructions were issued vide Circular 2nd cited to allow employees in Class-III and Class-IV categories to travel on the Privilege Bus Passes in the peak seasons also ie., during January to July by Semi Luxury Services on routes where no Super Express Services are operated limiting the number to 5 seats per bus.

        In the Memorandum of Settlement entered into with the Recognised APSRTC National Mazdoor Union on 27.03.1997.  It was agreed to allow staff to travel on Privilege Bus Pass in the next higher Class of service if there is no Express Service on such routes/sectors and not more than one set of bus pass will be allowed per service in such cases in the higher class of services.

        Therefore, it is hereby ordered to allow employees in Class-III and Class-IV categories to travel on the privilege bus pass in the next higher class of services, if there is no such Express service on such routes / sectors not exceeding one set of pass per service.

        The above facility is extended subject to seats are being vacant at the time of departure of the bus at the discretion of the Station Manager or Shift Supervisor.

        While issuing the bus pass the Unit Officer will make following endorsement on the passes  :

        "Valid by Deluxe/Luxury Services subject to non availability of Express Services on Routes / Sectors".

        These instructions will come into force with immediate effect.
