Sub:-    CASUALS - Regularisation of crew working on Daily Wage basis, twice in a year based on the schedules of 31st July and 31st December - Further instructions -  Issued.

        Instructions were issued through the Circular 1st cited to decasualize the Casual Drivers and Conductors who have completed 240 working days based on the requirement of crew at the rate of 2.6 norm per each schedule as on 31st of July every year.

        Subsequently, through Circular 2nd cited, further instructions were issued to regularize the No. of casual Drivers, Conductors and Cleaners who have been  engaged during the years 1991 to 1994 and completed 240 working days in a phased manner in the time frame stipulated there in as a one time measure.

        In the Memorandum of Settlement U/S 12(3) of I.D. Act 1947 between the Management of APSRTC and APSRTC  National Mazdoor Union concluded on 27.03.1997 it was agreed to regularize crew working on daily wages, twice in a year based on schedules of 31st July and 31st December hence forth as per existing guidelines.

        In order to implement the above, it is here by ordered that the Casual Drivers and Conductors who have completed 240 working days and eligible for regularization, shall be regularized twice in a year to the extent of 2.6 norm based on the schedules of 31st July and 31st December hence forth as per the existing guidelines.

        Necessary action shall be taken accordingly.
