            Instructions were issued through circulars 2^nd and 3rd cited for payment of Conveyance Allowance to the Blind, Orthopaedically Handicapped and Deaf & Dumb Employees of the Corporation @ 10% of Basic Pay subject to a maximum of Rs.650/- per month in addition to Residential Bus Pass.

            Instructions were issued vide circular 4th cited authorizing the Executive Director of Zones in respect of the employees working in Zonal Units and Executive Director (A&P) in respect of the employees working in Corporate Office, BBW, Printing Press and APSRTC Hospital, Tarnaka to sanction the Conveyance Allowance to the Blind, Orthopaedically Handicapped and Deaf & Dumb employees subject to the conditions stipulated in the circular 1^st cited.

            Vide Item No.38 of Memorandum of settlement reached with the recognised APSRTC National Mazdoor Union on 22.01.2010, it was agreed that when ever the State Government revises the Physically Handicapped Allowance to its employees, the same will be revised to the employees of the Corporation.

            The Government of A.P. vide G.O. 6^th cited issued orders for payment of Conveyance Allowance to the Blind and Physically Handicapped employees @ 10% of the Basic Pay subject to a maximum of Rs.900/- per month.

            The Vice Chairman & Managing Director with the concurrence of Chief Accounts Officer has accorded approval for enhancement of Conveyance Allowance from the existing 10% of Basic Pay subject to a maximum of Rs.650/- to that of 10% of Basic Pay subject to a maximum of Rs.900/- per month to the Orthopaedically Handicapped, Blind, Deaf & Dumb employees of the Corporation with immediate effect.

            All Unit Officers are therefore advised to take action for payment of Conveyance Allowance to the Blind, Deaf & Dumb and Orthopaedically Handicapped, employees at the revised rates. The other instructions issued earlier on the subject stands good.

The expenditure is chargeable to A.H.6055. 

These instructions shall come into force with immediate effect.
