Sub:-    SENIORITY - Change of levels of seniority consequent to Zonal set up - Validity of waiting lists for 2 years from the date of publication of seniority lists - Extension of time limit - Orders - Issued.

            It was stipulated in the Circulars cited that the employees kept in the waiting list of a particulars Zone and could not be accommodated in that zone up to a period of two years from the date of publication of the Zonal seniority list will be deemed to have been placed in the seniority list will be deemed to have placed in the seniority of the zone in which the employee is temporarily placed.

            Transfer of employees shown in the waiting list to the zones of their option is likely to take some more time.  In order  to avoid hard ship to the employees till leftover in the waiting list, the VC & MD has ordered to extend the validity period of the waiting list up to 31.12.1997.

            Necessary action shall be taken accordingly.
