Sub: - ALLOWANCES – Revision of certain Allowances to the Class-II, III & IV employees of APSRTC working in Audit Wing – Introduction of New Audit Allowance - Reg.

 In accordance with the Memorandum of Settlement entered into with APSRTC National Mazdoor Union (Recognised) on 22.01.2010, instructions were issued vide Circular 1^st cited, for revision of certain allowances and introduction of new allowances to the employees in Class-II, III & IV Services.   

 As per the said Circular, an Allowance of Rs.45/- per day is being paid to the Audit Staff engaged on tours outside the Head Quarters (in lieu of Dak Bunglow Allowance), in addition to the admissible Travelling Allowance.  

 The Staff of Audit Wing have been expressing their difficulties in meeting the expenditure towards accommodation & food etc. while performing audit duties at field level. 

 Keeping in view the financial implications in performing the audit duties at field level, the Board vide resolution 2^nd cited has accorded sanction  for introduction of new Audit Allowance to the Supervisors / Staff working in Audit Wings as enumerated below, in addition to the existing Allowances.   

1.      Audit Allowance to the Supervisors/Staff of Audit Wing working at Head Office @ Rs.80/- per day when they perform Audit/Inspection/ Investigation/Physical Verification outside their Headquarters.

 2.      Audit Allowance to the Supervisors/Staff of Audit Wing working at Zones/Regions @ Rs.40/- per day when they perform Audit/Inspection/ Investigation/Physical Verification outside their Headquarters.

3.      Audit Allowance to the Supervisors/Staff of Audit Wing working at GHZ/VJA/VSP(C) @ Rs.30/- per day when they perform Audit/Inspection/ Investigation/Physical Verification duties within the City Limits. 

 The new Audit Allowances will come into force with effect from 08.11.2011.

This has the concurrence of Chief Accounts Officer.
