Sub: CODE OF DISCIPLINE - Union Membership Verification in APSRTC under Code of Discipline - Recognition of majority Union under Clause(3) - Reg.

Ref:    Letter No.A2/1492/2010, Dated 30.09.2010 from the Returning Officer & Joint Commissioner of Labour, Hyderabad (TCs).

 On the representation from the General Secretary, APSRTC Employees’ Union to conduct verification to determine the Majority Union in APSRTC throughout the State under Clause (3) and Clause (6) of Code of Discipline, the Returning Officer & Joint Commissioner of Labour, Hyderabad (TCs) has conducted the Union Membership Verification by Secret Ballot on 9^th September 2010 and Postal Ballot on 14.09.2010 and 15.09.2010 for recognition of Trade Unions under Clause (3) and Clause (6) of Code of Discipline. The Returning Officer & Joint Commissioner of Labour, Hyderabad (TCs) communicated his recommendations to the Corporation vide reference cited.

 

          The Returning Officer & Joint Commissioner of Labour, Hyderabad (TCs) recommended for conferring recognition on the APSRTC National Mazdoor Union (Regd.No.3108) as representative Union for the workers of APSRTC under Clause(3) of Code of Discipline.

 

        The APSRTC National Mazdoor Union (Regd.No.3108) is accordingly recognised as the representative Union in APSRTC for the entire State w.e.f. 30.09.2010.  This recognition will remain in force for a period of Two (2) years from 30.09.2010 and thereafter, till such time its representative character is challenged, fresh verification is conducted and some other Union is recognised.
