On the representation from the General Secretary, APSRTC Employees’ Union to conduct verification to determine the Majority Union in APSRTC throughout the State under Clause (3) and Clause (6) of Code of Discipline, the Returning Officer & Joint Commissioner of Labour, Hyderabad (TCs) has conducted the Union Membership Verification by Secret Ballot on 9th September 2010 and Postal Ballot on 14.09.2010 and 15.09.2010 for recognition of Trade Unions under Clause (3) and Clause (6) of Code of Discipline. The Returning Officer & Joint Commissioner of Labour, Hyderabad (TCs) communicated his recommendations to the Corporation vide the reference cited.

In the Non-Operational Unit of Karimnagar Zone, no Union has secured the required number of votes for recognition under Clause(6) of Code of Discipline. Therefore, the National Mazdoor Union (Regd. No.3108) will be recognized Union under Clause(6) of Code of Discipline at Non-Operational Unit of Karimnagar Zone. 

 

This recognition will remain in force for a period of Two(2) years from 30.09.2010 and thereafter, till such time their representative character is challenged, fresh verification is conducted and some other Union is recognised.
