               Sub: ESTABLISHMENT- Guidelines for selection of candidates for promotion to the posts of Officers in Class-I Junior Scale and above - Guidelines issued - Reg.

          The Corporation Board vide Resolution 1st cited formulated certain guidelines and criteria to be adopted for Selection of candidates for promotion to the posts of Officers in Class-I Junior Scale and above. The Board vide Resolution 2nd cited reviewed the negative marks being given to various punishments imposed as per the   Reg.8(1)(iv) of APSRTC Employees’(CC&A) Regulations and amended the negative marks. 

 

          The Criteria adopted through the resolutions cited, for Selection to the category of Officers is furnished hereunder:

 

          1.       i)    For Promotion to Class. I Jr.Scale Service:

2.   The minimum marks required for selection shall be 60 (50 marks in case of SC/ST candidates).  Those who score marks 60 (50 in case of SC/ST) and above, their merit shall be arranged in the order of seniority in the feeder post.

 

3.          2 marks shall be awarded for each Appreciation letter issued by Chairman/VC & MD and 1 mark shall be awarded for each appreciation letter issued by Executive Director. General appreciation letters issued on the occasion of strikes etc., shall be disregarded.  Appreciations issued during the last 5 years only shall be taken into account.

 

4.          Candidates under going punishment(s) as per APSRTC Employees’ (CC&A) Regulations vide penalties 8(1) (iv) to 8 (1) (ix) are not eligible for selection during the period of punishment(s).

 

5.          Negative marks shall be awarded to  the candidates on whom penalties have been imposed as per APSRTC Employees’ (CC&A) Regulations in the feeder category during the last 5 years as shown below:

          The above revised guidelines will come into force with immediate effect.
