Sub:-    RECRUITMENT  -  Recruitment to the post of Conductors - Sending call letters to the candidates in the order of merit in the ration 1:1.5 - Instructions - Issued.

        Instructions were issued vide Circular cited that the candidates be called before the Selection Committee for verification of the Original Certificates and Physical Fitness, as per communal roster and merit in the ration of 1:3 ie., 3 candidates for every vacancy.

        By calling large number of candidates for the scrutiny of records aspirations are build up among the candidates besides excessive use of Corporation's resources for verification of original certificates and selecting candidates for appointment.

        In order to simplify the procedure and prepare the list of selected panels of Conductors in time, it is now decided that the candidates be called to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee for verification of their Original Certificates in the ration of 1:1.5 only (150 candidates for 100 vacancies) as per merit and as per communal roster instead of 1:3 existing now .

        The Circular cited above is deemed to have been modified to above extent.  The other terms and conditions contained in Circular remain unaltered.

        All the recruiting authorities are therefore instructed to follow the above procedure strictly while conducting selection to the post of Conductor.
