Sub:     RECRUITMENT – Drivers and Conductors recruited in the newly created Gr.III posts – Allowing the  time scale of Gr.II Driver/ Conductor w.e.f. 1.4.1997 – Regarding.

Ref:      Circular No. PD-22/1997, DT.3.4.1997

            Orders were issued through the Circular cited that all existing Grade –III Driver/Conductors in the regular time scale of Gr.III posts are appointed and placed in the time scale of Gr.II Driver/Conductor respectively w.e.f. 1.4.1997 pending approval of the Board and Government.

            It is now clarified that all appointments of Drivers/Conductors after 1.4.1997 shall be done in the cadre of Driver/Conductor Gr.II only
