A Notice under section 9-A of the Industrial Dispute Act,1947, indicating the intention to effect the change of level of seniority in the cadres of the Class-II employees of MIS wing with effect from 6th September 1997 was issued to all concerned through reference cited as under:

In response, representation have been revised to maintain the levels of seniority Class-II employee of MIS wing on par with the levels of seniority of corresponding categories of PD, AD, OPD, MED and SPD Departments.
In fact in the proposed change, only the level of seniority for placement in respect of Dy. Supdt. (stat) (3rd level Supervisor) will be changed to state level from Region level. There is no change in the level of the seniority for other two categories and also for promotion purpose in respect of Dy. Supdt. (Stat).
Keeping in view the fact that very less number of supervisors are existing in MIS wing in each of Supervisory cadres, and the varied experience to gained through better mobility and the possibility of more promotion chances to the employees due to State level seniority, it is decided to maintained state level seniority both for placement and promotion to all the Class-II employees of MIS wing. Accordingly the revised level of seniority of Class-II employees of MIS wing is, notified hereunder.

The revised level of seniority as indicated above will come into force w.e.f. 16.10.1997.
This disposes off the above representation.
