Sub:-    PMS – Development of Programme for generation of LSA Report – Communication – Reg.

Ref:-    Circular No.PD-69/2010, dt. 23-12-2010 issued for reduction of BSR and Personnel cost by taking measures for controlling absenteeism.

Detailed instructions were issued for controlling absenteeism vide circular at reference cited. In accordance to the above circular two programmes have been developed to monitor the attendance particulars of all employees by generation of LSA Report through PMS Module.

1. LSA(Leave Sick and Absenteeism) Register:

This report generates leave, sick and absent days of employees who are absent for more than 10 days in each spell of six months i.e from January to June and July to December. This report has to be generated on 1st of July and 1st of January every year and maintained in a register for taking necessary action for counselling the regular absentees as per instructions in the Circular  No PD-69/2010.

2. LSA REPORT :

The LSA report (--lsa-.rpt) shows the month wise leave, sick and absent days of employees for the past 12 months. It can be generated in five ways.

i.   In ascending order of Staff No.

ii.  In descending order of employees availing highest no. of leaves.

iii. In descending order of employees availing highest no. of sick.

iv. In descending order of employees availing highest no. of Absent.

3.Induvidual employee LSA report :In addition to this a consolidated report all types of non available days (CL, EL, EOL, LWP, Spl.Leave, HPLP, Sick, Absent, Suspension, etc)for the required period for an individual employee( lsa<staffno>.rpt) is also provided for information .

It can be utilised to analyse the attendance particulars of the Crew and to take corrective action to reduce the absenteeism and improve traffic revenue.

In order to have above reports the programme files have been placed in PMS/newcobs folder of RTCWAN:

Copy the programme files lsapms.cob, lsaind.cob, lsarpt.cob and lsareg.cob from RTCWAN/PMS/newcobs folder to pmsobj directory of PMS Computer of the Depot and to generate the Reports the following procedure has to be followed by Option 7 from PMS Main menu.  In sub-menu of option 7, the following options are to be run to generate the reports.

Option 9: LSA register (as per circular No.PD-69/2010):

 

              When the  option is run it generates the report (-- lsareg.prt).

 

Option 10: LSA for last 12 months for crew:
