Sub: RECRUITMENT REGULATIONS – Amendment to the method of recruitment and qualifications prescribed for the post of Jr. Assistant (Material) – Consideration of Stores Attendants who possesses SSC or equivalent qualification for promotion – Reg.

Ref: APSRTC Board resolution no.13/2011, dt. 31.03.2011.

            The Board through the Resolution cited, has accorded approval for amending the Method of recruitment and qualifications to the post of Jr. Assistant (Material) duly making Stores Attendants who possesses SSC or equivalent qualification eligible for promotion to the post.

 

            The Chairman has accorded approval for implementing the amended Recruitment Regulations to the post of Jr. Assistant (Material) pending approval of the Government.

 

            The amended Regulation is, therefore, notified in the Annexure for implementation with immediate effect by all the Recruiting authorities.

For Promotion:

i) The Mechanic/ Artisan-

a. must hold a Diploma in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering DAE/DME or be in possession of ITI;

 

b. the Mechanic/ Artisan in possession of ITI  must have rendered not less than 8 years of total service and Mechanic/ Artisan in possession of DME/ DAE must have rendered not less than 3 years of total service in the Corporation;

 

c. must pass requisite qualifying test;

 

Note: Seniority among Mechanic/ Artisan should be fixed among the qualified candidates.  Fir this purpose, the date to be reckoned should be the date of qualifying service

ii) The Mukaddam-

a. must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and must have rendered 10 year of service as Mukkaddam.

b. must pass the requisite qualifying test.

For Promotion:

 

i) The Mechanic/ Artisan-

iii) The Stores Attendants-

a. must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and must have rendered not less than 10 years of total service in the Corporation.
