            It is hereby notified as per the stand and stance put forth by a Committee after a detailed examination of the pros and cons of the amendments to Section-9, Item No.16 “Service matters” of Delegation of Powers in respect of appointing, disciplinary, appellate and review authorities pertaining to employees (Class-II, III and IV) working in Civil Engineering and Medical Departments for the reasons furnished hereunder:

            The Committee find it expedient for the assertive reasons of strengthening the line management, to eliminate drawbacks to give more autonomy and also to stabilize span of control for efficient and effective administration placed certain categories of employees under the control of Regional Managers and Executive Directors by amending the Delegation of Powers. Thereupon, the Vice Chairman & Managing Director remitted the case for placing before the Board for its approval.

            Considering the recommendations of the Committee, the Board passed its assent through its Resolution No.79/2012, dt.16.11.2012 for the amendments.

            Accordingly, the Delegation of Powers has been amended in respect of Section-9, Item No.16 of service matters specifically for the orders of Class-II, III and IV of Civil Engineering and Medical Departments as enumerated at APPENDIX-A & B.

            This amended Delegation of Powers will come into force w.e.f. 16.11.2012.
