The procedure for fitment of the candidates in the cycle (Roster) has been communicated time to time.

Some of the Regions are seeking clarification regarding preparation of roster and the methodology to be followed. After discussion with the concerned officials in Government dealing with Rule of Reservation. The following guidelines are issued for strict compliance so as to bring in conformity with the practice in Government.

1.                  The rule of reservation as per Government G.O duly following 100 point cycle (including BC-E) communicated by the Government strictly should be followed.

2.                  Irrespective of Community, the people with the higher marks have to occupy roster points meant for Open Competition(OC). However, the roster points should be filled up individually one by one (and not all OC points at a time).

3.                  All the remaining reserved points are filled up by the reserved category candidates belonging to the respective groups in the order of merit.

4.                  the points meant for women of various groups are filled up only by women belonging to the respective group-otherwise kept vacant.

5.                  As regards other roster points not reserved for women, order of merit (within that group or in Open Competition as the case may be) is followed irrespective of whether it is man or women.

All the Recruiting Authorities are instructed to strictly follow the above guidelines and implement rule of reservation in true spirit in direct recruitment posts on par with the Government.
