The Corporation Board through the Resolution No. 135/2010, dt. 29.12.2010, has approved the proposed amendment to Recruitment Regulations for the post of Driver Gr.II, to reduce the minimum age for recruitment to the post of Driver Gr.II from 25 years to 22 years.
The Government have, through letter 2nd cited communicated approval for the proposed amendment.
The existing and amended Regulations for recruitment to the post of Driver Gr.II is shown in the Appendix.
This amendment will come into force with immediate effect. However, it will not apply to notifications already issued.
