Sub: TRAINING – Revising the training for LMV and HMV Driving Training imparted to the Candidates sponsored by out side Institutions and Other Govt. Departments etc., - Notified – Reg.

The Transport Academy, 6 Zonal Staff Training Colleges and Regional Training Centres are imparting Training on various subjects to Govt. Departments, Public and Private Organisations i.e., GMR (Shamshabad Air Port), Fire Services Department, SC & ST Corporation, Rajiv Udyog Sri Scheme and Transport Department (Asst. Motor Vehicle Inspectors) etc., also, on their request and generating some revenues. Since there is steep escalation of costs such as spares of the vehicles, cost of tyres, HSD Oil and wages of Driving instructors etc., it is not financially viable for the Training centres to impart Training with the existing Training cost to out side Departments / Organisations.

In the light of the above circumstances it has become unavoidable, to enhance the cost of training fee in accordance with the escalated price. The cost of Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) & Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) (Residential & Non-Residential) driving Training fee is therefore revised to meet the actual expenditure.

The VC&MD has accorded sanction with the concurrence of CAO, to revise the Training Cost of HMV & LMV Driving Training, as furnished below.

It may please be noted that if a Trainee fails in the Driving Test to get the Driving Licence; the candidate may be given extended training on pre-rate cost basis.

Other Instructions in respect of the hours on driving & theory classes, driving KMs etc. remain unchanged.

These instructions will therefore supersede the earlier instructions issued in LMV & HMV Driving Training imparted to the candidates sponsored by outside institutions / Government Departments etc, to the extent modified as shown in the above table.
