Sub: ALLOWANCES - Payment of Dearness Allowance to the Employees and Officers of the Corporation w.e.f. 01.01.2010 in RPS 2009 - Orders Communicated.
Ref: Circular No.PD-05/ 2010, dated 17.02.2010.

The Competent Authority has accorded sanction for revision of the rate of Dearness Allowance w.e.f. 01.01.2010 from 4.4% of Pay to 10.9% of Pay per month to all Employees/ Officers whose Pay has been fixed in RPS 2009.
Therefore, the revised rate of Dearness Allowance @ 10.9% of Pay in RPS 2009 shall be drawn and paid through the regular salary bill of March 2010 and onwards. The arrears of Dearness Allowance for the months from January 2010 and February 2010 shall be drawn along with RPS 2009 Arrears.
NOTE: 1. ”PAY” means basic pay fixed in RPS 2009 and changes that come about from time to time on account of increment/promotion/reversion/reduction in Pay etc., and shall include special pay and personal pay. It does not include special allowance.
2. The D.A. shall be calculated on basic pay of RPS 2009 and to be rounded off to the nearest rupee i.e., less than 0.50 paise shall be ignored and 0.50 paise and above shall be rounded off to the next rupee.
The above rates of Dearness Allowance shall not be applicable to the Ex-TTD employees, who have not opted to the service conditions of APSRTC and also to the Employees on deputation to APSRTC.
Necessary action shall be taken accordingly.
