Sub:- UNIFORMS – Providing of Shoes to Vulcanizers and Shramiks working in Tyre Retreading Shops of APSRTC – Reg.

Instructions were issued through the Circulars 1^st to 3^rd cited for supply of Bata Make Shoes once in 2 years to the employees mentioned therein, working in the Depots/Work Shops, in lieu of Foot Wear Allowance. 

Further, instructions were issued through the Circular 3^rd  cited, for supply of BATA make shoes of any model that is available in the market at the time of procurement at the rates ranging from  Rs.700/- to 900/-, to Artisans/Helpers and Khalasis of Workshops/ Depots, in lieu of Foot Wear Allowance. 

Now, the VC&MD with the concurrence of Chief Accounts Officer has accorded sanction to procure and supply Bata Make shoes of any model at the rates ranging from Rs.700/- to Rs.900/- per pair, to the Vulcanizers/Shramiks working in Tyre Retreading Shops of APSRTC, once in 2 years through Zonal Stores, in lieu of Foot Wear Allowance. 

The employees who were already paid Foot wear allowance of Rs.220/- are not eligible to get shoes for the year 2012. 

Necessary action shall, therefore be taken accordingly.            

These instructions will come into force with immediate effect.
