Sub:  PAY SCALES – Revision of Pay Scales of the Employees and Officers of the Corporation w.e.f 01.04.2009 – Payment of arrears due on the RPS 2009 to the Employees and Officers – Release of 2^nd installment - Reg.

 

Ref: 1. Memorandum of Settlement dated 22.01.2010 reached with the Recognised APSRTC NMU.

The Pay Scales in respect of the Employees of the Corporation in Class-II, III and IV services, revised w.e.f  01.04.2009 in terms of the Memorandum of Settlement 1^st cited, have been notified through Circular 2^nd cited for implementation of the same in the Salary bill of March, 2010.  Similarly, consequent to the Revision of Pay Scales in respect of Officers w.e.f 01.04.2009, instructions were issued for implementation of the same in the Salary Bill of March, 2010.

It has also been agreed in the Memorandum of Settlement that the arrears arising out of fixation of pay in the RPS 2009 w.e.f 01.04.2009 would be released in TWO installments in the months of May and December 2010.

 Detailed working instructions were issued through Circular 4^th cited for drawl of the 1^st Instalment of the arrears, i.e. 50% of the arrears on account of RPS 2009 through Supplementary Salary Bill.  Through the Circular 5^th cited, 1^st installment of Arrears on account of RPS 2009 was already paid on 27.05.2010.

It is now decided to pay 2nd (final) instalment of arrears i.e. 50% of the arrears on account of RPS 2009 in respect of Officers and Employees in Class-II, III and IV services on or after 09.12.2010.

Necessary action shall, therefore, be taken for payment of 2nd (final) installment of arrears on or after 09.12.2010 through Supplementary Salary Bill as per the instructions issued through Circular 4^th cited.

This has the approval of VC & MD with the concurrence of Financial Adviser.
