Sub:-    RECRUITMENT  -  Recruitment to the posts of Conductors - Ratio for calling the candidates in the order of merit for interview - Instructions - Issued.

        Instructions were issued vide Circular 2nd cited that the candidates be called before the Selection Committee for verification of their Original Certificates in the Ratio of 1:1.5 as per merit and as per communal roster.

        Many a number of Recruiting Authorities are informing that there is poor response from the lady candidates for the post of Conductor and more over among those turning up before the Selection Committee  most of them are found to be under height.  Thus the ratio of calling the lady candidates in the Ratio of 1:1.5 for scrutiny of records is inadequate.

        This issue has been examined and it is now decided that the lady candidates be called to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee in the ratio of 1:3 as per merit and as per Communal Roster Points instead of 1:1.5 existing now.  Regarding calling the male candidates for verification of records, the existing ration of 1:1.5 holds good.  The Circular 2nd cited above deemed to have been modified to the above extent.

        All the recruiting authorities are therefore instructed to follow the above procedure strictly  while conducting selections to the post Conductor.
