Instructions were issued vide circulars 1^st , 3^rd and 4^th cited for payment of Conveyance Allowance @ 10% Basic pay subject to a maximum of Rs.650/- p.m. which ever is less to the Blind, Deaf & Dumb and, Orthopaedically Handicapped employees having not less than 40% of disability,  and subject to other conditions laid down in the said Circulars.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.6^th cited issued orders for payment of Conveyance Allowance at 10% of basic pay subject to maximum of Rs.650/- per month in respect of Hearing handicap employees also. The impairment of    60 db or more in the better ear in conversational range of frequencies shall be the qualifying criterion. 

The Vice Chairman & Managing Director has accorded approval to follow the above criterion for sanction of Conveyance Allowance to the Deaf employees  @ 10% of Basic Pay subject to a maximum Rs.650/-P.M . 

The expenditure is chargeable to AH No.6055. 

The other instructions issued earlier on this subject stand good.
